Hello! I am a 27 year old Medieval Studies/Archaeology student at UVic in Victoria, BC. My academic focus is in Viking and Celtic studies (mostly Viking), as well as other medieval stuff. I've loved photography for quite awhile, and it's one of my favorite pass-times. I prefer landscape photography, but I'm trying to learn some new techniques as well. I also am a beer snob, a metal listener (real metal..not Metallica and such), and an outdoorsy person - even though the outdoors hate me!

Wow, came online today after WAY too long to check and see what's up. So much has changed..my goodness. Everything looks super different.
It's my birthday today as well! Maybe that will inspire me to spend some more time in this next year of life doing some photography and perhaps even updating my page a bit!

Hello hello again !! Well, I can honestly say DA has helped me find inspiration once again. This time, for chainmaille. I started to do some chainmaille jewellery making a little while back, and have thus far made two bracelets, half a necklace and a few swatches of different weaves to practice. But I honestly didn't know just how versatile this stuff was. Found a couple amazing groups and artists that are truly inspiring to me.
I already had a few projects planned, but now I've see the other sorts of things I can do with it.
I have some drive to get going on this stuff again and see what sorts of lovely things I can make :)
